A game developer from Sweden named Cockroach Inc. is set to release a game that will please fans of point-and-click adventures. Named "The Dream Machine", the new game is going to be made entirely out of clay and cardboard. Here’s to hoping it shapes up well.

Like a boot to the head, Toribash is flying onto the Wii this week. Self-billed as a "tactical fighter", the game allows players to fight online using motion control. One catch: only Europeans will get to play it.

One of the fun things about E3 is that you never know what you’ll run into. Maybe a stray gem of a game hidden off in the corner, or a great bit of swag (I’m deeply jealous of the people who got the 8-bit Scott Pilgrim shirt), or possibly meeting a celebrity who’s just about a billion times more awesome than what he’s there to promote. Yoostar 2 will probably be a fun little party game, allowing players to substitute themselves in famous movie scenes, but they had Leonard Nimoy demoing it live, in person. In a tiny little room where he was ten feet away from the half-dozen people they let in at a time.

There’s nothing overtly exciting about this third party gaming headset, except for the fact that it’s comfortable, produces great sound and is cross-device compatible. Ok, so I guess that’s everything you need in a headset.

We caught up with Ryan Rucinski of Crave Games the first day of E3 to get the what’s-what on the new Deadliest Catch game. Sig Hansen, captain of the fishing boat "Northwestern" (also featured on the Deadliest Catch TV show), was on hand as well. While we didn’t interview Sig on camera, we did get a great photo of him rolling up his sleeves, something a captain doesn’t typically do on his show.
